it just occurred to me…literally 15 minutes ago…that there are only 15 days until xmas. (insert your own personal expletive here)

this weekend has been a good one to catch up on everything that is xmas. i’m making xmas presents this year for my friends in nz and i spent much of the weekend collecting items, brainstorming ideas for presentation and packaging, and cooking. i hope it all turns out well.

update: because i ran out of ingredients i only managed to make half of my xmas presents, which means i have to do this all over again next weekend. damn.

the photo: it’s the rock garden next to the lumley centre which is near my apartment. i’ve always loved it. it’s so colourful and relaxing. mmmmm…rocks on water.

Two weeks into the new year. I stopped taking photos for a while.

My girlfriend renewed my pro account for me as an Xmas present. I think it was meant to motivate me to take more pictures.

This is Angeline, my lovely girlfriend, who is amazing and supportive and treats me like I’m made of gold. I can’t really think of a better way to start this off than with a photo of her.

Attempting to start a 365 project for the THIRD time in a year is a great idea when I’m alone on a Tuesday night. This time I’m going to dispense with attempting to find a self portrait everyday, tho I’m sure quite a few will be. My only real goal is a photo a day.

With my nikon, with my cannon point and shoot, with my camera phone. Doesn’t matter. Pic a day is my only goal.

Let’s see how this works out.
