im in desperate need for some ideas for things to get mum and dad for xmas rather than the usual thing, like chocolate!

What’s your mom’s favorite perfume? I don’t know about your mom but my mom always wants something like that, or a nice satin robe. Pamper stuff.
If she does like to be pampered, get her a spa basket with soap and a lufa and candles, and a relaxing CD stuff like that.
Or get her a gift card to a spa.
Does she like to read? Get her some books. If you don’t know what she likes, get her a gift card to Barnes&Noble.

For your dad, it depends. Is he a handy man? Get him a tool set. Or a gift card to home depot or menards.
Is he a gardener? Get him gardening supplies.
Does he like to cook? Get him a cookbook and ask your other family members for some secret family recipes.
My dad had a bunch of pictures from his fishing trip in a box and so I made him a photo album, He absolutely loved it.
Get him a shaving kit.
Dad always needs new underwear, lol. Put those in his stocking

His favorite movies
Wallet

This never fails. If you have an old photo of your family, put it in a picture frame. Simple yet touching.
Make personalized family ornaments for your mom and your dad and some for your sisters and brothers if you have any.
My mom is terrible with directions so this year I’m planning on getting her a GPS.
