Today would have been my Mum’s 76th birthday. I always used to buy her something silly as she refused to let us buy her anything so close after Xmas. Her favourite present ever was this toy clanger which I bought for her some years ago. Mum was called Shirl (Shirley) and a clanger with the letter S was noted. It also whistles like a clanger when you press it’s tummy. Mum only ever pressed it on her birthday. It was pressed by me today in her memory. xxx

Santa has magnetic arms and is hanging from the extractor fan thingy over the stove. When I turned the lights on it looked like an interrogation
