Question by PinkLady: Xmas presents for my grandparents?!?!?!?
Right here is the situation, my grandparents are 91 and 88. If I ask them what they want they say NOTHING!!! I have bought them everything i can think of over the last few years: clothes, photos (professional and scrapbook), house bits and bobs, garden things, and last year, i bought some lovely royal doulton glasses and put lots of other little bits in the hamper, which they loved. But according to mum the glasses have never left the box, for fear of dropping them. I really need any help you can give me!!!

My grandmother always appreciated consumables. Make a Care package of things they use frequently. Little things like their favorite soap, cookies, crackers… Christmas cards with the stamps already in place are a nice early present. Look around their house for anything that looks like it needs to be replaced. Treat Grandma to a visit to the salon. Take Grandpa out for a few beers and get him talking about the old days
If they’re like my mom, “New” stuff will just be put away “for the kids”.
Most likely what they’d really appreciate is lots of visits from you.
