Older siblings, and parents?

One question: Why is my younger sister so spoiled?

- I know it sounds like im complaining but im NOT.. she’s so spoiled.. here are a few examples:

She went to NY this entire week for the holidays but i didnt JUST BECAUSE i was sick..
I get excellent grades (straight A’s) meanwhile she gets average grades, yet gets REWARDED and i dont :[
When she came home this week she came wit a new game for her PSP and an ipod shuffle (beside her XMAS presents) meanwhile i got a box of chocolates -.-
On her birthday she received EVERYTHING she wanted (including today which is her birthday) and i mean EVERYTHING :’[

I can go on and on but i won’t.. seriously is it just me thinking this? i dont even know anymore and i feel worthless, but why is she praised nonstop meanwhile im sitting on the sidelines and getting hollered at for every wrong thing i do.. i feel hurt kinda but i just wanna know.. any tips on why she’s like this or how i can ignore?
ive tried talking to them but they simply dont listen

I`d really like to know the answer to this question too..
I`m the eldest & I have a younger brother who is completely spoiled! I have wayyyy better grades & help out more around the house; yet he gets rewarded. Who knows.
