Q&A: Buying Xmas presents for extended family, at what age should you say just Merry Xmas?

Question by Robert: Buying Xmas presents for extended family, at what age should you say just Merry Xmas?
I’ve bought presents for my neices and nephew since they were infants, but now they are all grown, except one, and making bank, but I am still buying them a little something and receiving nothing in return. I know it is not the point of Xmas, but still I feel I should be reciprocated in some manner, even a cheap tie would be appreciated, but I love them and enjoy being the generous Uncle, to a point. What’s the etiquette? If any?

You can stop at any time. Christmas presents are not mandatory.
