Question by Lina Gonzales: xmas/bday present for ex boyfriend?
So i broke up with my boyfriend a month and a half ago and over thanksgiving break we hung out and he acted like we were still together just on a break. I just look at it as a break up but he thinks we’re getting back together soon, and we are not in my book till he grows up. Well im scared that he’ll be getting me a christmas present!! in the past i got him lots of meaningful things and gifts all the time cuz i just loved doing it even if i got nothing in return. Yet i like getting gifts too but he hasnt really ever bought me one (jewelry, tickets,gift cards etc), hes always made me things like super cool art work, which i love cuz he spends so much time on it BUT like comn now! anyways dec is also his birthday which sucks even more and i feel bad not getting him anything..1. We are BROKEN UP 2. he is very well off and has everything 3. i am broke and am not even doing xmas this year even with my family cuz i cant afford it 
we are more than friends and still love each other truly but i chose to end for the both of us.

If he give you something, say “thank you”
If he’s upset you didn’t get him anything, it’s HIS problem.

If he’s really upset, offer whatever he gave you back, tell him it’s not really for you, it’s a bribe so you’ll get him stuff he likes.
